Fleetyard Studios Ltd, the developer of the upcoming sci-fi game Starship Simulator, has successfully met its £65,000 Kickstarter funding goal in just three days. The game, which allows players to explore the universe in a realistic spacecraft, will offer billions of star systems to discover, detailed and interactive ship interiors, and extensive customization options.

Starship Simulator features a 1:1 scale Milky Way galaxy with scientifically accurate star systems, procedurally generated objects, and eight unique crew roles to choose from. The game's ship, the Magellan Class, is designed to be as realistic as possible, with functioning cables, pipes, and machinery.

Fleetyard Studios Ltd, founded in 2020 by Dan Govier and his wife Claire, aims to create the deepest and most engaging space exploration experience possible. Dan, the sole developer of the game, leverages his passions for science, engineering, architecture, and astrophysics to ensure accuracy in every aspect of the game. The game's music is composed by Orchestorm, and the audioscape is being developed by Jose Luis Gonzalez Castro.

The Kickstarter campaign will continue for 28 more days, with stretch goals including Native-Room Scale VR Support, Shuttles & Alien Structures. Players can support the campaign and look forward to exploring uncharted planets aboard their own spacecraft in the near future. More information about Starship Simulator can be found on Fleetyard Studios Ltd's official website, Kickstarter page, Steam, Steam Demo Trailer, Twitter, and Press Kit.
