Grifford Academy Launches on Steam Early Access, Inviting Player Feedback for 1.0 Release

LandShark Games, an independent game studio based in Singapore, has released its coming-of-age RPG, Grifford Academy, into Early Access on Steam. The game, which carries a theme of growth and development, will be open to player feedback and insights to help shape its path to a full 1.0 release in 2026.

Grifford Academy is a "lite academia" RPG that combines turn-based strategy, isekai storytelling, and a rich character growth system. Players will join Erika, Viva, and Cap as they navigate teenage turmoil and ancient magic in the mystical book realm of Caldria.

The Early Access phase will include updates, iterations, and improvements, as well as new features such as Recipe Hunting, Pets, and a Roguelite Mode. These features will be prioritized based on community preference, with LandShark's EA Roadmap available on Steam.

Grifford Academy is now available for $14.99/€14.99/£12.79, with a 20% launch discount. LandShark Games, founded by Paul Naylor, aims to create approachable, atmospheric games with deep but accessible systems, focusing on storytelling, exploration, and systems. Pantaloon Phantom Publishing, a marketing and brand support organization, assists LandShark in maintaining its independence while bringing its games to market.
