Published by Firesquid and developed by Traptics, Xenopurge puts players in the role of an operations officer, commanding a squad of intelligent, autonomous troops in combat against unknown threats. The game is played primarily through keyboard inputs, with a focus on tactical command and strategic decision-making.
The demo features one playable squad, the Sentinel Strike unit, with up to four units that can be commanded at once. Each soldier has their own combat style, and players can equip them with a variety of ranged and close combat weapons. The demo includes a variety of missions and a boss battle, as well as the ability to customize squad behavior with 10 different combat logic routines. The full version of the game will be released on July 11, 2025, and will be available on PC.
Traptics is a game development studio based in Athens, Greece, founded in 2012. Their last title was Homeseek, a post-apocalyptic strategy game released in 2023.
