Windstorm: The Legend of Khiimori Kickstarter Campaign Surpasses €400,000 with 24 Hours Left

Pc Games Early Access Role Playing Game Indie GameAesir Interactive and Mindscape have announced the success of the Kickstarter campaign for their upcoming open-world adventure game, Windstorm: The Legend of Khiimori. The campaign has surpassed €400,000, with just 24 hours remaining. The game is set in 13th century Mongolia and focuses on horse riding, with players taking on the role of a brave courier rider.
The Kickstarter campaign has unlocked several stretch goals, including an expanded Mongolian map, cooking mechanics, horse and character customization, exotic horse breeds, and a peaceful mode. The game is built in Unreal Engine 5 and is set for Early Access on PC in Summer 2025. It will be available on Steam (Windows), Epic Games Store (Windows), PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, and Xbox Series S|X.
Aesir Interactive is an ambitious development team with over 100 professionals, and Mindscape is a publisher with over 30 years of experience in the gaming industry. Alias Entertainment and SamFilm GmbH are also involved in the production of the game. Windstorm: The Legend of Khiimori uses Unreal® Engine and is financially supported by the FFF Bayern and the BMWK of the German Bundestag.
