Kraków, Poland-based game developer Baltoro Games and indie studio Professor Space Games have jointly announced their new psychological horror game, "Things Too Ugly." The game is set in 1986 along the Mississippi River and features a first-person, interactive experience that combines puzzle-solving, investigative work, and narrative exploration.

In "Things Too Ugly," players navigate an antiquated workspace, examining instruments and documents under the dim light of a desk lamp and the moon. As they sift through archived files, they uncover eerie details and unusual diagrams, with urgency building as the night wears on. The game features a long-buried episode from the company's past, and players must use their wits and a range of tools, including a GPS and encoder device, to unravel the mystery.

"Things Too Ugly" is scheduled for release in the latter half of 2024 and will be available on Steam, Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch. The game promises to deliver a unique blend of horror, puzzles, and storytelling to players around the world.

Professor Space Games is an indie studio run by a solo developer, focusing on producing high-quality titles that offer unique experiences. Baltoro Games, founded in 2008, is known for its passion for games and its work in the mobile gaming world. The company is now expanding its reach into the console and PC gaming realm.
