In the new game from 11 bit studios, "The Alters," players will explore the concept of choice and its consequences. The protagonist, Jan Dolski, finds himself on a distant planet after a crash landing and must create alternate versions of himself, called "alters," from lives he never lived to operate the mobile base and escape. These alters have their own consciousness and may have lived what they believe to be better versions of Jan's life, leading to potential resentment. The game raises questions about the nature of survival and the treatment of these alternate beings.

"The Alters" has been in development since 2020 and has faced various challenges, including the pandemic and the shift to remote work. Despite these hurdles, the game has remained true to its original vision thanks to the determination and talent of the development team.

The game will be released on June 13, 2025, for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and will be available on Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass on day one.
