Tap Wizard 2, an idle game with action RPG and shooter elements, is set to release on Nintendo Switch on January 30, 2025. The game, which was also recently released on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, features retro fantasy pixel art graphics and addictive gameplay based on simple rules. Players will find an extensive spell and skill system, with individual spells based on different elements such as fire, ice, and lightning.

Tap Wizard 2 is developed by TopCog, an independent American studio, and published by Ultimate Games S.A. for Nintendo Switch. The game offers simple and accessible gameplay, with elements familiar from other genres including action RPGs, shooters, and tactical games. Players must face successive waves of dark forces, while selecting certain spells, special abilities, and traits. The game also includes a wide set of magical skills, more than 25 different types of enemies, and a unique character development system with skills, spells, totems, and runes.

The titular wizard can retain powers and abilities gained in case of defeat, providing a better chance of success on the next attempt. The release date for Tap Wizard 2 on Nintendo Switch consoles is set for January 30, 2025. The game is available in English, French, Brazilian Portuguese, German, Spanish, Dutch, Italian, and Russian. Tap Wizard 2 is a single-player game with a file size of 1 GB. It was also released on PC Steam on May 21, 2024.
