IO Interactive, the creators of the HITMAN franchise, have shared updates on the progress of players in their attempts to eliminate The Drop, a nightlife mogul resembling DJ Dimitri Vegas, in the game. The Drop has been a resident at Club Boom since October 3rd and will continue until the 14th, giving players two weeks to complete the mission. The success rate of the mission is currently at 47%, down from 61% last year, suggesting that players may have underestimated The Drop's security or been distracted by his DJing skills.

Most players who have successfully completed the mission have preferred using melee weapons, with the screwdriver being the most popular. The Drop Pack, a DLC that includes the Base, Club Boom DJ suit, and three items, is also available for purchase. The Season of the Drop is currently ongoing, with new content being released in the coming weeks, including a cameo from the Undying himself, Curated contracts, and the return of Mills Reverie.

HITMAN World of Assassination, which combines the best content from HITMAN 1, 2, and 3, is available now for various platforms. The Drop Pack is available for purchase at $4.99/€4.99/£3.99.
