The development of the open-world RPG, Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon, has reached a significant milestone. After more than two years in Early Access on Steam, the game is nearing its full release, scheduled for Q2 2025. Developed by Questline studio and published by Awaken Realms, the game is now available to download as a demo on Steam, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5.

Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon is an ambitious project that offers 50-70 hours of exploration in a dark reimagining of Arthurian legends. Players will journey into the heart of Avalon, a land shaped by 600 years of Camelot’s rule, to witness the epic conclusion of this era. The game delivers an unparalleled RPG experience, inviting players to immerse themselves in a richly detailed world of dark magic, intrigue, and heroism.

The game boasts three massive zones to explore, 250 unique NPCs, fully voice-acted, over 200 side quests, more than 60 unique enemies, and 70+ dungeons. The branching main quest offers dozens of possible endings, ensuring deep replayability.

The demo release is accompanied by a new cinematic trailer, crafted by Unit Image, the studio behind the cinematic masterpieces for Elden Ring and Baldur’s Gate 3, and a fresh gameplay showcase that highlights the immersive mechanics and world-building that define the game. The final Early Access Update, version 0.9, has also launched, bringing significant updates and setting the stage for the game’s full release.
