Stormgate™ Debuts at Esports World Cup in Riyadh

Pc Games Early Access Strategy Free To PlayFrost Giant Studios, the creators of the upcoming real-time strategy game Stormgate™, has partnered with the Esports World Cup (EWC) to feature the game in an exhibition at the EWC in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The Stormgate exhibition will begin on August 13, 2024, and can be watched online at Twitch.tv/PlayStormgate. The EWC is a significant global esports gathering, and Stormgate will be showcased alongside popular games with established competitive esports scenes.
The EWC Stormgate Invitational will be a double-elimination tournament featuring four top Stormgate players from Korea, Poland, China, and the United States, competing for a $5,000 USD prize. The Invitational is a significant milestone for Frost Giant Studios as Stormgate enters its Early Access development phase.
Stormgate is a free-to-play real-time strategy game set in an all-new science fantasy universe, featuring ranked 1v1 competitive ladder play, three-player co-op missions, and an early look at the game's story-driven campaign mode. The game is designed for both competitive and casual players and will introduce a bespoke 3v3 mode and a powerful in-game editor for creators to build their own maps, mods, and custom games.
The EWC Stormgate Invitational will feature a stellar lineup of esports broadcast talent, including James "Kaelaris" Carrol, Nick "Tasteless" Plott, Dan "Artosis" Stemkoski, Jessica "ZombieGrub" Chernega, and Kevin "RotterdaM" van der Kooi. Stormgate is developed for Windows PC and will be available for free on Steam beginning August 13.
