Stormforge: Survival Crafting Meets Fantasy - Early Access in 2025

Roboto Games, a venture-backed game studio, has announced its much-anticipated open-world fantasy survival crafting game, Stormforge. The game was unveiled during IGN Live and the PC Gaming Show, and is set to be available for early access on Steam for PC in 2025. Players can Wishlist Stormforge on Steam and register for updates and playtests at the official website.

Stormforge takes place in Sorana, a procedurally generated world plagued by deadly magical storms. Players must survive these storms while foraging, crafting, building, and battling enemies, either solo or in co-op mode with up to 8 players. The game combines the classic elements of survival crafting with rich fantasy and RPG elements, reminiscent of Dungeons & Dragons and the Stormlight Archives, presented in a unique graphic novel style influenced by Moebius and Miyazaki.

Magical storms are an integral part of Stormforge, serving as both a threat and a valuable source of resources. Players can craft equipment and select powers that offer distinct weapon and skill advantages, adding unique RPG elements to the survival crafting experience. The game also features a fully integrated modding system, enabling players to seamlessly enhance their gameplay with community-created mods.

Roboto Games is committed to incorporating player feedback and has opened playtest registration for those interested in helping shape the game before its early access launch. The studio's mission is to create games that are "Good Alone, Great Together," offering incredible solo gameplay experiences that are even better with friends.
