Free To Play Pc Games Action Game Early Access Indie Game

LINE Games will release a free playable demo of its upcoming roguelite horde-survival action game, Ember and Blade, on Steam starting July 17, 2025. The demo will offer up to two hours of gameplay, allowing players to control Fenrix Haven and battle against hordes of demons and challenging bosses.

Ember and Blade combines hack-and-slash action, roguelite progression, and survival-horde pacing, offering players the opportunity to experiment with various angelic blessings, sword-and-magic combos, and strategic resource management. The game features fast-paced melee and ranged attacks, randomized angelic blessings, and full gamepad support.

Following the demo release, Ember and Blade will expand during Steam Next Fest in the fall, with a vertical-slice build that includes progression systems, new stages and bosses, advanced weapon mechanics, and live community events. The game will move into Steam Early Access in Q4 2025, with regular updates, balance tweaks, and fresh content drops. The full game is set to launch globally on Steam and Steam Deck in 2026, with console versions under consideration.
