"A Byte War" is a real-time strategy game where players lead a race of block-based machines against a machine threat from another dimension. Players must build their base using patterns formed with blocks and construct buildings to cover their needs, such as resource harvesting, unit spawning, and influence spreading.
The game features branching storylines across dozens of missions, allowing players to choose their own path towards an ending. There are various mission types with unique objectives and biomes, including defense, survival, control, and destruction. Additionally, the game includes a built-in map editor for players to create their own custom maps.
Marko Sišul, the founder of Stellar, has been working as a freelancer for other companies for the past two years. However, with the upcoming release of "A Byte War," Sišul is shifting his focus towards building his own game studio.
