Heroic Games Corporation has announced that their new PVE MMORPG, Ship of Heroes, will be launched for the PC during the second quarter of 2025. The game is set in the 25th century and features a superhero sci-fi setting with an original story. Players will control a customizable superhero aboard the Free Human Ship Justice, a 20-mile-long generation ship traveling through the galaxy.

At launch, Ship of Heroes will offer a wide range of features including advanced character creation and customization, intricate combat, voiced NPCs, crafting, an auction house and trading system, and over 200 customizable superpowers. The game will also include player housing, team and solo play, and scalable raids.

Heroic Games has stated that they are committed to providing a positive community experience and have implemented a real-time chat moderation system to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all players. The company also plans to take reasonable steps to keep the community positive, even if it means lower revenues.

The game uses the Unreal 4 engine and will be available exclusively on Steam. It is still possible to join the volunteer testing team for those who wish to see and influence the game's development. Heroic Games Corporation is an independent studio dedicated to creating Ship of Heroes, with a small team of veterans who have shipped over 40 games. The company is committed to creating a traditional MMORPG experience, with large groups of human-controlled characters on the screen at once.
