Saga Unveils Game Publishing Division, Saga Origins, at GDC

Saga, a leading Layer-1 protocol and developer ecosystem in web3, has announced the creation of Saga Origins, a game publishing division focused on bringing cutting-edge games to market. Saga Origins is the first web3 chain to establish a dedicated game publishing arm for developers. The new division offers a full-service and collaborative approach, providing support such as partnerships with influencers, sponsored user acquisition campaigns, community building, and promotional efforts.

The announcement was made during the Saga Multiverse Reveal event at the Game Developers Conference (GDC), where Saga's co-founder and CEO, Rebecca Liao, discussed the Saga Multiverse, powered by generative AI and blockchain, and Saga Origins. Panelists from Parallel, Wilder World, and Wanderers explored the new era of web3 gaming, and guests were treated to previews of games in development on the Saga chain.

Saga Origins aims to bring provocative, expansive, and uncompromising titles to consumers, revolutionizing game experiences. The division's launch is part of Saga's ongoing efforts to offer the most performant, lowest cost infrastructure possible to web3 developers, with 335 Innovator projects and counting, 80% of which are games. Saga has also established partnerships with Polygon, Avalanche, and Celestia, positioning itself as a leader in web3 development.

Saga Origins will announce its inaugural projects and partnerships in the near future. The Mainnet launch, bringing together web3 gaming in an extensive launch campaign, is only weeks away. Saga Origins is committed to building a portfolio of games that will challenge players and push the boundaries of gaming in the web3 space.
