Imaginytes Launches in Early Access: A Deckbuilder Tower Defense Experience

Pc Games Early Access Indie Game Role Playing Game Strategy Free To PlayImaginytes, a strategic roguelite deckbuilder Tower Defense game developed by former LEGO designer Rasmus Lindholm, is set to launch in Early Access on July 17, 2025, on Steam for PC and Mac. The game has already been built with feedback from hundreds of demo players and will continue to grow based on community input during the Early Access phase.
In Imaginytes, players collect and evolve imaginative creatures, build powerful decks, and defend against waves of nightmares in procedurally generated dream worlds. The game combines elements from roguelites, card games, and tower defense, offering a replayable roguelite structure, branching paths, random maps, and unlockable talents.
Players can use spells, support cards, and evolving tower creatures to defend their Dream Core. They can also choose and grow their team of Imaginytes to match their evolving strategy. The game has been solely developed by Rasmus Lindholm, who brings his past experience at LEGO to create a playful and charming game with layered gameplay systems.
The Early Access launch marks the beginning of a collaborative phase where the game will be refined based on player feedback. A free demo is still available for players who want to try the game before purchasing it. Players can provide feedback and suggestions through the game's Discord server.
