The game, which has been in the works since the middle of 2023, puts players in the role of a chicken in a slaughterhouse, facing puzzles and dangers in a frightening environment. Lima was inspired to create the game after the death of his own pet chicken, leading him to consider the experiences of animals raised for human consumption. Saborus has been selected for the horror category at the OTK Games Expo event and will be presented with a new trailer and a playable demo on June 4th and 5th. The game will be released on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch, but a specific release date has not been announced. QUByte Interactive is a Latin American publisher known for its work on retro games and porting classic titles to modern consoles.
