Razer, the leading global lifestyle brand for gamers, has announced significant progress in its 10-year sustainability roadmap in honor of Earth Day 2024. The company is integrating up to 85% recycled materials in the base models of its three core PC categories: mice, keyboards, and headsets. This move is part of Razer's commitment to a 1.5-degree Celsius reduction pathway, aligning with the ambitious goals of the Paris Climate Accord. The Science Based Target initiative (SBTi) has validated Razer's 2030 targets as consistent with the 1.5-degree Celsius pathway, highlighting the brand's leadership in driving real climate action.

Razer's sustainability efforts extend beyond its products, with the company committing to Science Based Targets initiative's Business Ambition for 1.5-degree Celsius campaign. This commitment includes reducing operational emissions by 90% from a 2019 baseline and cutting indirect emissions intensity within its upstream and downstream value chain by 55% by 2030. To achieve these goals, Razer is implementing a comprehensive strategy, including transitioning to clean renewable energy, incorporating recycled materials into products, promoting less carbon-intensive transportation methods, and actively engaging its supply chain.

The #GoGreenWithRazer sustainability roadmap aims to preserve nature and protect the environment for future generations. Razer has eliminated plastics from packaging, optimized packaging size, and utilized FSC-certified paper with soy ink. The brand also offers accessible recycling options and reward programs to encourage responsible disposal of its products.

Razer's commitment to sustainability is backed by a strong gaming community passionate about a better future for the planet. By continuously minimizing its environmental footprint and driving industry-level sustainability efforts, Razer is dedicated to empowering gamers to be part of the solution.
