Early Access Indie Game Pc Games Free To Play Strategy

Quite OK Games and Future Friends Games have released a significant free update for the city-building game Laysara: Summit Kingdom, now available on Steam Early Access. The update introduces a new Sandbox mode as part of the Steam City Builder & Colony Sim Fest.

Laysara: Summit Kingdom is a challenging city-builder focused on resource management, economy, and survival in a high-mountain environment. Players can build and expand settlements in the game's campaign or sandbox playthrough. The new Sandbox mode offers several new features, including the freedom to develop cities without objectives, the ability to build multiple cities across an entire mountain range, and the option to create a complex trading network between settlements.

The update also introduces six new mountains with unique characteristics for players to build upon. Base game features allow players to build on a mountain with different shapes, vegetation zones, resource availability, and weather conditions. Players must deal with avalanches, craft a transport network, and raise a Summit Temple to triumph over the elements.

Quite OK Games is an indie studio formed in 2021 by three developers who decided to work on their own project after growing tired of working on other people's games. Future Friends Games, founded in 2017, helps indie games get the love they deserve, branching out into publishing in 2021 with titles such as Omno, Exo One, Laysara: Summit Kingdom, Europa, Gourdlets, SUMMERHOUSE, and The Cabin Factory.
