Portside Game Assembly: Exclusive B2B Conference for International Indie Game Leaders Aboard a Cruising Ship in Hamburg's Harbour

Indie Game Pc Games Role Playing GameGamecity Hamburg is hosting the first edition of Portside Game Assembly, a B2B conference for international indie game leaders, on June 27, 2025. The event will take place on a ship cruising Hamburg's famous harbor and will feature keynotes, impulse talks, and roundtables led by industry experts from renowned indie studios such as Evil Empire, Stray Fawn Studio, Ghost Ship Games, The Game Kitchen, and Young Horses Inc. The conference aims to provide a focused and collaborative setting for studio directors and decision-makers to connect and engage in strategic networking.
The program highlights include keynotes, impulse blocks, and roundtables on various topics, such as game idea validation, fostering a good company culture, investing in other studios, and mobile ports. Some of the notable speakers include Benjamin Laulan, Philomena Schwab, Søren Lundgaard, Mauricio García, and Kevin Zuhn.
The conference has already attracted more than 60 studios from over 15 countries, including Digital Sun, Keen Games, Young Horses Inc., Gamious, Color Gray Games, Massive Damage, and Beam NG. Founders and leaders of indie game studios with at least one successful title can apply for the main conference using the registration form on the Portside Game Assembly website.
The full conference ticket includes access to the Opening Mixer, Networking Brunch, main conference, and Games Industry Party for a total of 189 euros plus fees & VAT. Tickets for the Networking Brunch and Games Industry Party are also available for separate purchase. The Networking Brunch will take place at the "Alte Liebe" restaurant in Hamburg's HafenCity, while the Games Industry Party will be held on the MS Stubnitz in HafenCity, starting at 7 pm.
