The game will be available for digital purchase on PC, PS5, and XBSX stores for £29.99 / €34.99 / $39.99. A physical version will also be available in certain regions from September 13, 2024, for £34.99 / €39.99.
Pneumata has been compared to the Resident Evil series and is the creation of a solo developer who drew inspiration from various horror games. Players will assume the role of a detective investigating the mysterious happenings at Clover Hill, where tenants are disappearing, and strange noises and bloodstains are appearing. The game challenges players to distinguish reality from insanity and recover their fragmented memories while avoiding the horrors that lurk in the shadows.
