SmileBoom Co.Ltd. has announced that renowned game creator MAKOTO KEDOUIN will use "RPG Developer Bakin" to create a new sample game, with the development process to be documented in a blog series. KEDOUIN is known for the horror title "Corpse Party" and is emphasizing story in the new project. Leading up to the official release of Bakin on August 28, 2025, SmileBoom is running a social media campaign and accepting video submissions of games created with Bakin. Three new DLC packs are also scheduled for release on July 29, including "Ultra Building Victorian Style", "Mokemo Factory MONSTER PIXEL PACK Vol.5", and "Vibrato NPC PIXEL PACK Vol.2". "RPG Developer Bakin" is a game creation tool that offers ease of use and powerful features, with an official release planned for August 28, 2025.
