Fulqrum Publishing and Karaclan have released the prologue to their upcoming RPG, VED: Purification, for free on Steam. The game, which is set to release on November 14th for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4/5, Xbox consoles, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and GoG, features turn-based combat mechanics and roguelite elements. Players will take on the role of Cyrus, a young hero on a quest to become a master of sword and magic and save the world from destruction.

VED: Purification is set 30 years prior to the events of VED and follows a different character, a Vedic warrior named Dook, who falls in love with a magical being. The game's full launch will see Cyrus set off on his journey, exploring a world inspired by diverse cultures and mythologies. Throughout Cyrus's quest, he will encounter various factions with different views on the events taking place, and players will have the opportunity to influence the decisions of key characters.

VED features a non-linear story with irreversible consequences and alternative endings, as well as an innovative turn-based battle system, a system of unique interactive events, and an eclectic soundtrack. Players can build a village for themselves and their allies to unlock new skills and abilities. The game's prologue, which is available now, allows players to experience the first chapter of the game and get to grips with the game's world and mechanics without spoiling the full story. Fulqrum Publishing and Karaclan are excited to bring VED: Purification to players later this month.
