Newcomers & Veterans Unite: World War 3 Introduces Ruins of Gobi Map & Stronghold Mode

Wishlist Games has announced the launch of a new map, Ruins of Gobi, and a game mode, Stronghold, for their popular game, World War 3. The new update is aimed at providing a simpler and more accessible battleground for new players while offering a fresh challenge for veterans. The Ruins of Gobi map is designed to be easy to learn, with a mirror layout for both teams, and environmental storytelling elements. The Stronghold mode is an 8v8 objective-driven combat experience with no vehicles or strikes, focusing on gunplay, positioning, and coordination.

The update also features a revamped webshop based on player feedback, with a more extensive selection of weapons and equipment and a slower rotation. Wishlist Games CEO, Alexey Larionov, expressed his excitement for the new update and the opportunities it presents for new and veteran players. The company also plans to introduce a new matchmaking system to minimize wait times and improve team balance.

World War 3 is a free-to-play tactical online multiplayer first-person shooter developed and published by Wishlist Games and The 4 Winds. Players can engage in thrilling, team-based skirmishes with up to 40 players on a range of stunning, realistic maps. Wishlist Games is an independent European publisher and developer, known for its work on Armored Warfare and World War 3, with a diverse team of over 50 employees from countries all over the world. The company specializes in developing and publishing large-scale multiplayer projects that engage millions of players worldwide.
