Indie Game Nintendo Switch Pc Games Role Playing Game Early Access
XSEED Games, the publishing brand of Marvelous USA, Inc., has released the final character introduction videos for The Hundred Line -Last Defense Academy-, introducing the members of the Special Defense Unit. The game, developed by TooKyo Games Inc. and Media.Vision Inc., will be available in physical and digital formats on Nintendo Switch and Windows PC via Steam on April 24, 2025. The limited edition for Nintendo Switch includes various collectibles and is available for preorder via the Marvelous USA Online Store and participating retailers. The title has been rated "M for Mature" on Nintendo Switch by the ESRB.
The Hundred Line -Last Defense Academy- is a tactical RPG and adventure game with a dark storyline and multiple despair-filled endings. The character-focused video series highlights the remaining members of the Special Defense Force, including Yugamu Omokage, a teenage assassin who enjoys torture and dissection; Kyoshika Magadori, a clueless young samurai with an unsettling relationship with her katana; Gaku Maruko, a self-centered mood maker; Tsubasa Kawana, a star mechanic with a bright personality but poor handling of stressful situations; Hiruko Shizuhara, the cold and merciless leader of the Special Defense Unit; Takemaru Yakushiji, an old-school delinquent with a heart of gold; Shoma Ginzaki, a young man with low self-esteem; Nozomi Kirifuji, a kindhearted healer with a secret; Moko Mojiro, a cheerful and lively super wrestler; and Nigou, the Special Defense Unit's deputy commander.
XSEED Games will publish the game physically and digitally in the Americas, while Aniplex Inc. will handle the global release on Windows PC via Steam and digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch in Europe.
