Morgan Kane, a former NFL player, has launched Marauder Tech Games, a remote mobile games studio focused on leading the next generation of mobile game development with a diverse team. The self-funded studio is currently developing a turn-based mobile strategy game with a unique twist, aiming to provide a more accessible experience than traditional turn-based games.
Led by Kane and Joel Balyeat, a former Senior Producer at Activision, Marauder Tech Games consists of 22 industry veterans and innovative newcomers. The remote setup allows the studio to hire talent from around the world, fostering a global and adaptable team.
Balyeat's vision for the studio goes beyond product development, emphasizing opportunities for everyone. The team is committed to creating a welcoming environment for all, regardless of experience level.
The studio's first title is a medieval fantasy turn-based strategy game, featuring multiplayer duels, multiple character classes, and adaptive strategy playstyles. The asynchronous gameplay allows for multiple games at once, challenging players to devise the ultimate strategy in their spare moments.
