Mai Shiranui, the beloved ninja from the SNK's Fatal Fury series, is joining the roster of Street Fighter 6 on February 5, 2025, for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. She is the second guest character in Street Fighter history and will be available for free to players who own or purchase the Year 2 Character Pass or Year 2 Ultimate Pass. Alternatively, she can be purchased with Fighter Coins.

Mai brings her unique moveset to Street Fighter 6, inspired by various SNK classics and modernized with Street Fighter 6 mechanics. She will be playable in all three game modes, including Fighting Ground, Battle Hub, and as a Master in World Tour.

Two outfits will be available for Mai. Outfit 1 is reminiscent of her classic style from the Fatal Fury series, while Outfit 2 is themed around her new look in the upcoming Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves. Outfit 2 can be acquired via Fighter Coins or by maxing out the bond with her in World Tour.

Mai's moveset includes Kachousen, Ryuuenbu, Hissatsu Shinobi Bachi, Hishou Ryuuenjin, Kagerou no Mai, Chou Hissatsu Shinobi Bachi, and Shiranui Ryuu: Enbu Ada Zakura. These moves offer a variety of options, such as flaming projectiles, divekicks, and anti-air attacks.

Street Fighter 6, which has sold over four million units since its launch, is available now and features a combination of unique fighting game innovations and three brand new game modes: Fighting Ground, World Tour, and Battle Hub. The game is currently available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
