UK games publisher Kwalee and independent game studio Inzanity have released a new free update for the roguelite rhythm shooter ROBOBEAT on PC. The Spring Update introduces a new room type called "Virus," where players can exchange health for powerful rewards, and a Cheats menu that allows players to customize their gameplay experience.

ROBOBEAT is a rhythm shooter where players must navigate through procedurally generated levels, shooting and dodging to the beat of their chosen music. The game features a variety of weapons and utilities that can be modified to suit the player's playstyle.

The Spring Update adds a Cheats menu, which allows players to equip any weapon or utility, spawn specific enemies, and access special room types. This feature is intended to give players more control over their gameplay experience and to encourage experimentation.

The update also introduces a new room type called "Virus." In these rooms, players can put their health on the line in exchange for high-tier weapons and utilities. This feature is designed for players who enjoy high-risk, high-reward strategies.

ROBOBEAT allows players to upload their own music and automatically generates beats that sync with the rhythm of the track. This feature, combined with the game's fluid movement mechanics, creates a unique gameplay experience that encourages players to move and shoot to the beat of their chosen music.

Kwalee is a multi-award-winning games publisher and developer, while Inzanity is an independent game studio founded by solo developer Simon Fredholm. ROBOBEAT is Inzanity's latest game, and Kwalee is publishing it on PC.

The Spring Update is available now, and ROBOBEAT is available at a 33% discount until 28th March. Players can watch the Spring Update trailer on the publisher's website. Kwalee is known for publishing high-quality games on all platforms and encourages developers to get in touch. The company is also active in the industry as an ambassador of Women in Games and a regular supporter of charities like Safe In Our World, GamesAid, and SpecialEffect.
