Hive Jump 2: Survivors Launches May 29, 2024 on Steam Early Access

Pc Games Early Access Indie Game Action GameThe sequel to the critically acclaimed action-platformer Hive Jump, Hive Jump 2: Survivors is set to launch on PC via Steam Early Access on May 29, 2024. Developed by Graphite Lab and published by Midwest Games, the sci-fi bullet heaven roguelike follows a lone survivor of an ambush on a hostile planet, tasked with eliminating hordes of alien creatures using jetpacks and a variety of weapons.
Jetpacks are the player's primary tool for traversing the environment and avoiding incoming enemies. Players can choose from different Jumpers, each with unique stats and abilities, and customize their builds with various augments, weapons, and utilities. The game features a variety of enemies, including Bombarders and Crushers, and allows players to convert bug carcasses into currency for purchasing upgrades.
Hive Jump 2: Survivors will be available in English on Steam Early Access, with more localization support planned for the full release. Graphite Lab, based in St. Louis, Missouri, is an independent development studio that has worked on projects such as Atari's Kombinera, Mr. Run and Jump, and Qomp2. Midwest Games, based in Green Bay, Wisconsin, is a video game publisher focused on creating opportunities for underrepresented regions.
