Flaming Fowl Studios, an independent game developer rising from the ashes of Lionhead Studios, has announced its new project, Konfronto, a sci-fi auto battler game. The game features an intergalactic carrier with a wide array of deadly spaceships and technology that players can command and upgrade to obliterate opponents in asynchronous multiplayer. The game offers billions of possible combinations, ensuring that each run will always be different.

Craig Oman, CEO of Flaming Fowl Studio, expressed his excitement about the announcement, albeit with a touch of humor. Konfronto is available to wishlist on Steam now and will have a demo available at the Steam NextFest in October.

Mike West, Creative Director, highlighted the importance of the Steam event for indie developers like Flaming Fowl Studios. The company aims to build deep and interesting strategic experiences with fascinating twists and a healthy dose of humor, and Konfronto is no exception.

Flaming Fowl Studios previously developed Gloomhaven and plans to include fans and customers in the development process to create something special. The company is self-publishing Konfronto, as most publishers seem to be hibernating this year. The game promises to offer a unique and exciting experience for auto battler fans.
