EVE Online: Legion Unveiled - New Conflicts, Alliances, and Autonomous Jobs in May 2025

CCP Games has announced EVE Online: Legion, the next expansion for the legendary science fiction MMO EVE Online, set to launch on May 27, 2025. Legion sets the stage for new beginnings, bold loyalties, and new and powerful forms of collaboration as players carve out their place among the stars.

In a time when new conflicts arise and old alliances fracture, New Eden corporations must evolve. Leaders now have new capabilities to recruit, organize, and make a difference. The expansion Legion introduces autonomous jobs, a new system allowing players to collaborate with player-run corporations under their own terms and leave their mark on New Eden. Players can choose their path from day one by accepting jobs created by other players, from transporting critical supplies to engaging in combat or leading industrial operations. Each task becomes a step towards finding individual purpose in a corporation, building reputation, and participating in the infamous player-driven wars that have defined EVE for over two decades.

Two formidable warships are set to redefine the battlefield. The Babaroga, a Triglavian Tech II last-generation roamer, channels devastating entropic disintegrators and activates a bastion module providing subcapital DPS that changes the game, perfect for those who dominate through precision with power. Meanwhile, the Sarathiel, a fierce and agile battleship from the Angel Cartel, rains down long-range capital-class destruction with enormous bonuses to projectile damage and falloff. The Sarathiel is the only battleship capable of using a capital jump drive in siege mode and is a true terror in the frontline.

As fresh blood flows in New Eden, the ability to manage and develop nullsec space evolves. The Equinox sovereignty system now offers more control, exploration opportunities, and strategic flexibility. Alliances can now expand and solidify their influence in more subtle ways: fortifying systems, exploiting resources, and shaping future power borders. The new corporate aesthetic palette allows players to unify their visual identity and fly under shared colors, projecting their influence across regions as the battlefield is reshaped around them.

Designed in collaboration with the stellar management council, Legion arrives with radical balance changes for cruisers and capital ships, along with a revamped map experience. Omega clones now
