Evangelion's Rei Joins Tower of Fantasy on March 28

On March 22, 2024, Tower of Fantasy, the popular free-to-play, open-world MMORPG, announced that a new Evangelion collaboration simulacrum, Rei Ayanami, will be joining the game on March 28. Rei, a Frost-Volt simulacrum, is an exclusive pilot of EVA-00 and hails from another dimension. She is known for her calm demeanor and wields a special-made weapon called Salvation, a prototype bow made by the Mirroria Department of Science and Technology.

Tower of Fantasy is set hundreds of years in the future and takes place on the planet of Aida. The game features an immersive open world, cooperative group and solo adventures, freeform character development, unique simulacrums, and epic combat that allows players to switch weapons and gameplay styles on the fly.

Hotta Studio, the developer of Tower of Fantasy, was founded in November 2018 and focuses on creating innovative high-quality games. Level Infinite, the global games brand of Tencent, is the publisher of Tower of Fantasy and is dedicated to delivering engaging and original gaming experiences to a worldwide audience.

Rei Ayanami is the latest addition to Tower of Fantasy's roster of simulacrums, which includes characters from various franchises. Players can look forward to Rei's arrival in the game on March 28 and can view the trailer for Simulacrum Rei on Tower of Fantasy's official website.
