KOEI TECMO has announced DYNASTY WARRIORS: ORIGINS, an upcoming action game developed by Omega Force, set to release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows PC via Steam on January 17, 2025. The game introduces a new protagonist, a mysterious martial artist, to the 1 vs. 1,000 gameplay of the Warriors series, taking place during the dawn of the Three Kingdoms era.

Players will experience the story from the hero's perspective, making choices that impact the Three Kingdoms, while engaging in intense combat against powerful officers like Lu Bu. The protagonist can also be joined by allied officers, allowing for strategic variations in battle.
