Dying Light: The Beast Unleashes the Baron in Summer 2025

Pc Games Role Playing Game Sony Playstation Microsoft Xbox Virtual Reality GamingTechland revealed a new trailer for Dying Light: The Beast during The Game Awards 2024, introducing the main antagonist, the Baron, and announcing a summer 2025 release window. The Baron, real name Marius Fischer, is an emotionless and brilliant scientist who experimented on the series' protagonist, Kyle Crane, for over a decade. Convinced that humanity is weak, the Baron is determined to restore order through sinister virus strain experiments.
Players will experience Crane's torment and his desire for revenge, but must control their inner beast to prevent becoming the monster they despise. The new gameplay trailer showcases an immersive open world with diverse areas, dynamic weather changes, and visceral combat with realistic physics. The Swamps, a new area, and Baron's Laboratory, where new threats and atmospheric gameplay horror await, are also featured.
Dying Light: The Beast reached 1 million wishlists in less than 10 weeks, and will be available on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox in summer 2025. Techland, the developer, is a Polish game studio with a 30-year history of creating successful AAA franchises, including Call of Juarez, Dead Island, and Dying Light. They are currently working on an unannounced AAA Open World Action RPG set in a new fantasy universe.
