tinyBuild and Scythe Dev Team, the creators of Happy’s Humble Burger Farm, have announced their latest project, Deep Cuts, a cinematic horror VR rescue mission. The game is set to release on Meta Quest later in 2024, with Steam VR and PSVR 2 support coming in 2025.

Deep Cuts follows the story of filmmaker Elise Weber, who must save her best friend and creative partner, Malcolm Micheaux, after their villainous cartoon creations go mad. Players will explore the Lights Camera Faction studio premises and enter a series of blockbuster worlds based on the duo’s extensive film catalog.

The game features numerous interactable objects, intricate puzzles, and time manipulation abilities. Players will also have access to an ultimate Film Director power. Each world contains its own unique setting, including an ‘80s horror-inspired festival, a ‘70s space thriller, and a Wild West town.

Deep Cuts is designed to take full advantage of the Meta Quest hardware, with meticulous optimization for fluid performance and rich, detailed environments. The game will support the English language.
