Deathbound DLC Announced: Brave the Gauntlet of Grief and Hardcore Mode

Pc Games Role Playing Game Action Game Indie GameTate Multimedia and Trialforge Studio have announced the first DLC for Deathbound, titled "Accepted By Death." The DLC is set to release on October 28, 2024, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, GOG, and Epic Games Store.
The "Accepted By Death" DLC introduces a Boss Rush Challenge, where players face reimagined battles against five bosses representing the five stages of grief. Surviving this gauntlet unlocks the final confrontation with Grief – The Purifier, the mightiest of them all.
Additionally, the DLC brings a new Hardcore Mode, offering a challenging experience where death is permanent, and characters who fall in battle will not return. Players must master every aspect of combat to succeed in this punishing mode.
Key features of the DLC include the Gauntlet of Grief, a Boss Rush challenge with new mechanics and encounters; Hardcore Mode, where death is permanent; new powerful items and skins; and the exploration of the new Path to Death area.
Players can take advantage of a 10% discount on both the DLC and the main game when the DLC launches. The official Deathbound Discord server provides updates on the game. Trialforge Studio is a Brazilian-based game development studio, and Tate Multimedia is a Poland-based independent developer and game publisher, known for games such as Kao the Kangaroo, Urban Trial Series, and Steel Rats.
