Klabater and Weather Factory have announced the release date of the popular card game, Cultist Simulator, for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. The game, which has already been successful on PC and Switch, will be available on Microsoft and Sony's consoles starting August 8th, 2024.

Cultist Simulator is a roguelike narrative card game set in a 1920s-themed world of hidden gods and secret histories. Players take on the role of a seeker after unholy mysteries, with the goal of discovering knowledge, power, beauty, or revenge. The game's mechanics allow players to shape the narrative with every choice they make, becoming scholars of the unseen arts, crafting tools, summoning spirits, and more.

The game will be available in three different editions: Initiate Edition, which includes the base game and the first three DLCs; The Exile DLC, a major expansion that shatters and remakes the rules; and Anthology Edition, the complete edition that includes the base game and all DLCs.

Cultist Simulator has received critical acclaim and two BAFTA nominations. It was developed by Weather Factory and published by Klabater, an indie game developer and publisher established in 2017 in Poland. Klabater has a catalog of over 30 games published on PC and consoles and aims to be a recognized and acclaimed porting and publishing partner for indie game developers.

Weather Factory was established in 2017 by Alexis Kennedy and Lottie Bevan to make narrative games with a consciously indie aesthetic. They have developed games such as Cultist Simulator and BOOK OF HOURS, an elegant, melancholy, combat-free RPG set in an occult library.
