Unwise and Akupara Games have announced their collaboration on the upcoming musical automation game, Future Vibe Check. In this game, players are not only asked to feel the vibe but to create it by building factories that produce music. The game's creator, Manik Bhat, wanted to make something that his younger self would have loved, an automation game that taps into the instinctual drive to optimize and grow, and sublimates it into something divinely human, which is creative energy and playing music.

In Future Vibe Check, players explore music with a mad smart music engine that makes everything sound right from key to scale, even if they don't know any music theory. The game also features rhythm and pitch minigames to gather resources and keep the beat flowing. As the factory grows, players must defend it from Vibe Stealers, but there are tons of options to safeguard the Vibe at their own pace.

Unwise is a NYC-based game creator with a goal to build games with systems that make players think, explore their own creative expression, and invite them to re-examine their philosophical beliefs in the real-world. Akupara Games is an indie game publisher based in Los Angeles, California, that supports their developers through an involved and personalized pipeline to bring games to communities of players who are looking for their next enveloping experience.

Future Vibe Check is now available to wishlist on Steam. The game's release date has not been announced yet.
