Brilliantcrypto, Inc., a blockchain game company based in Tokyo, has announced that a digital diamond named "King Yoshinobu’s Glory" was sold for a record price of 2000MATIC, or approximately $1,150, in its game. This sale is one of over 3,000 deals that have been completed in the game since its release.
Brilliantcrypto is a blockchain game that utilizes the "Proof of Gaming" concept, which is inspired by Bitcoin’s consensus algorithm, "Proof of Work." The game is designed to be sustainable and to create new value in the metaverse by ensuring the value of digital gemstones. The company, a subsidiary of COLOPL, Inc., aims to create games that stand out and provide new value to a global audience through the use of blockchain technology.
To play the game, a PC with Windows OS or Mac OS is required. A mobile version of the game is planned for release at a later date. Brilliantcrypto was established in November 2022 and is headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo. The company's CEO is Naruatsu Baba.
