On March 21, 2024, COLOPL, Inc., the parent company of Brilliantcrypto, Inc., signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with CALIVERSE Inc., a subsidiary of LOTTE Data Communication Co.,LTD., for the co-creation of a metaverse economy ecosystem. Brilliantcrypto is a project that creates digital gemstones through gameplay, which can be used in various metaverses, and the MOU with CALIVERSE is the first step in utilizing these digital gemstones.

CALIVERSE is a hyper-realistic and immersive metaverse developed by CALIVERSE Inc, featuring ultra high definition 3D live action footage and graphics. The partnership aims to combine Brilliantcrypto's "Proof of Gaming" model, CALIVERSE's metaverse technologies, and LOTTE Group's sales channel to advance in creating a new economic ecosystem in the metaverse.

Kim Dong-Kyu, CEO of CALIVERSE, expressed his pleasure in collaborating with COLOPL to create a metaverse of the new age. Naruatsu Baba, CEO of Brilliantcrypto, also expressed his delight in the agreement with CALIVERSE, aiming to create new value for a global audience.

CALIVERSE Inc is a subsidiary of LOTTE Data Communication Co.,LTD., specializing in the metaverse and VR, and owns cutting-edge technologies such as ultra high definition live action 3DVR and real-time rendering graphic synthesis powered by Unreal Engine5. Brilliantcrypto, Inc. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Colopl, Inc., founded in November 2022 to take on the challenges of blockchain gaming.

This partnership between Brilliantcrypto, CALIVERSE, and LOTTE Group is expected to bring significant advancements in the creation of a new economic ecosystem in the metaverse.
