Junkfish, an independent game development studio, has released its much-anticipated rogue-like adventure game, Bootleg Steamer, for PC via Steam. The game is set in the 1920s America, where players take on the role of a bootlegger, navigating treacherous seas to maximize profits, outfox the law, and keep the local mafia at bay.

Bootleg Steamer invites players to pick their captain, recruit crews, and voyage through 50 unique maps across America to meet the demands of different cities and towns for alcohol. Players must manage their resources carefully and develop a strategy to outwit both the Coast Guard and the Mafia. The game features six unique captains, each with their own skills and personalities, and players can customize their ships, recruit skilled crew members, and engage in high-stakes dealings with the mob.

Michael Macleod, Lead Designer at Junkfish, said that the team has put their heart and soul into Bootleg Steamer, a game that is easy to learn but hard to master. The game has already generated significant enthusiasm among gamers, and Junkfish is delighted to make it available for purchase.

Bootleg Steamer is a highly addictive game of nautical cat and mouse, where players must balance their illegal activities with the need to build connections with thirsty customers and avoid invoking the wrath of the mob. The game is now available for purchase on Steam, and players can check out an exclusive 21-minute gameplay via IGN. For more information about Bootleg Steamer, visit the Junkfish website or follow them on Facebook, Twitter, or Discord.
