The game is set in the 1920s America, where players take on the role of a bootlegger, navigating treacherous seas to maximize profits, outfox the law, and keep the local mafia at bay.

Bootleg Steamer invites players to pick their captain, recruit crews, and voyage through 50 unique maps across America to meet the demands of different cities and towns for alcohol.
