The collaborative planetary sequel, BOKURA: planet, developed by tokoronyori and publisher Kodansha Creators’ Lab, has been launched on PC via Steam for $5.49. The game is a follow-up to BOKURA, which has had 900,000 downloads and focuses on testing friendship. Two death row inmates must work together to escape a mysterious planet, but they can only interact with certain artifacts around them, requiring communication through voice chat. The game introduces a new element of mistrust, as each player has their own secret objectives and can use the new "push" action to shove each other off cliffs or into deadly electric barriers. The game's key art was created by Koji Kumeta, known for his manga series "Sayonara, Zetsubou-Sensei." BOKURA: planet is published as part of the Kodansha Game Creator’s Lab project, which supports young talents and indie creators. Tokoronyori is known for his unusual visual creations, distinctive world-building, and deeply emotional stories within his games. Kodansha Game Creator’s Lab was established in 2021 and is the fourth department of the prestigious entertainment publishing company Kodansha Ltd., founded in 1909.
