NEXON's RPG Action Strategy game, Blue Archive, has released the Main Story: Vol. 1 Foreclosure Task Force Chapter 3, “Traces of a Dream” – Part 5 Update. This update includes a new part of the main story, where the Foreclosure Task Group must protect their school from an emerging threat. Additionally, the 'Sheside outside' Event Story, a fest recruitment, a student recruitment, a new mini-game, and more are featured.

In Blue Archive, players are appointed as an advisor to the Federal Investigation Club S.C.H.A.L.E. (SCHALE) located in Kivotos, a massive city with numerous academies. They must venture forward to resolve incidents in the city while building relationships with charming anime students.

The Fest Recruitment Event, which doubles the chance of acquiring a 3★ student, is available until Jan. 29 at 5:59 PM PT / Jan. 30 at 1:59 AM UTC. The Student Recruitment Event, featuring two special swimsuit versions of the students, Saori (3★, Swimsuit) and Hiyori (3★, Swimsuit), will begin on Jan. 29 at 6:00 PM PT / Jan. 30 at 2:00 AM UTC and end on Feb. 7 at 5:59 PM PT / Feb. 8 at 1:59 AM UTC.

The 'Sheside outside' Story Event, where players can meet a special swimsuit version of the student Atsuko (1★, Swimsuit), is currently available. The Hi-Lo Ha-Lo mini-game, a 'tower defense' game, is also introduced in this event. The 100-Free Recruitment Event, where players can earn a total of 100 free recruitments, will begin on Jan. 29 at 6:00 PM PT / Jan. 30 at 2:00 AM UTC and end on Feb. 7 at 5:59 PM PT / Feb. 8 at 1:59 AM UTC.
