Oppolyon Studios, an indie game development team from Australia, has released their first game, Ascending Inferno, which is now available on Steam for $14.99 USD. The Foddian soccer platforming game features various layers of hell, each with unique challenges, and tells the story of two siblings climbing their way out of hell. Ascending Inferno is a challenging yet accessible game that requires precision and skill. Early reviews have praised the game for its unique mechanics and stunning handcrafted levels. Players control Dani and must dribble, kick, and header her dead brother Vincent's ball-shaped soul through hellish landscapes. One wrong move can send players back down, so players must be careful not to drop the ball. The game features nine challenging layers of hell, each with its own devilish mechanics, as well as secrets hidden across each level.
