HoYoverse, a global interactive entertainment brand, has announced that the urban fantasy ARPG Zenless Zone Zero's Version 2.1, "The Impending Crash of Waves" will be released on July 16. This summer-themed update introduces Season 2 Chapter 2, focusing on the Spook Shack faction and introducing two new regions, Sailume Bay and Fantasy Resort.
Sailume Bay, nestled beneath the cliffs of Failume Heights, will be the central stage for Chapter 2's story, while Fantasy Resort features sandy beaches, coconut trees, and a vibrant holiday atmosphere. Two new characters from the Spook Shack, Ukinami Yuzuha and Alice Thymefield, will join the roster. Yuzuha is an S-Rank Physical Support Agent who deploys her tanuki companion Kama, while Alice is an S-Rank Physical Anomaly Agent and a noble heiress.
Proxies can enjoy various summer activities and attractions at the Fantasy Resort, such as surfing, yachting, sea shooting challenges, and fishing. New stylish outfits will be available for Yuzuha, Alice, and the protagonists. A new Bangboo Auto Battler event, "En-Nah" Chess Legend, will be introduced with a PVP mode.
Zenless Zone Zero is an urban fantasy ARPG in which a calamity called the "Hollows" has destroyed modern society. Players assume the role of a "Proxy" accompanied by unique characters as they explore Hollows, battle enemies, complete commissions, and reveal the mysteries behind New Eridu.
