HoYoverse, a global interactive entertainment brand, has announced that the urban fantasy action role-playing game (ARPG) Zenless Zone Zero will release its Version 1.1, "Undercover R&B," on August 14. This update will introduce new challenges, storylines, characters, and gameplay experiences.

In Version 1.1, players will engage with the New Eridu Public Security (N.E.P.S.) and unravel the complex relationships between characters Qingyi, Jane, Seth, and the Mountain Lion Gang, a criminal syndicate. The update also features the new Hollow Zero gameplay experience, "Inferno Reap," where players can battle Nineveh.

Two new S-Rank characters, Qingyi and Jane, will join the game. Qingyi is an Electric Stun character skilled at inflicting Daze quickly to stun enemies, while Jane is a Physical Anomaly Agent who can trigger rapid, multi-stage, and deadly attacks. Additionally, the A-Rank Electric Defense character Seth will be available, along with the new S-Rank Bangboo "Officer Cui."

The update introduces the "Inferno Reap" gameplay to Hollow Zero, where players can enter a time-limited battle with Nineveh after completing the "Withering Garden" stage and related commissions. Successful challenges grant various in-game rewards.

Zenless Zone Zero's themed event, "Camellia Golden Week," offers players the opportunity to obtain Polychromes, A-level W-engine, and various materials by completing event commissions. The update also introduces new in-game events and features, such as Immersive Tactical Drill, First-Class Customer Service, and upgraded camera function with filters and selfie options.

Zenless Zone Zero is HoYoverse's newly released urban fantasy ARPG, set in a world where contemporary civilization has been destroyed by a calamity known as "Hollows." Players assume the role of "Proxies," accompanied by unique characters to explore Hollows, combat enemies, complete commissions, and reveal the mysteries behind New Eridu.
