Oneiric Worlds, an indie studio from France, has released Zefyr: A Thief's Melody on Steam and itch.io after 12 years of solo development by Mathias Fontmarty. This stealth/adventure game is inspired by classic PS2/GameCube era games, such as Zelda: Windwaker, Sly Cooper, and Beyond Good and Evil. Zefyr is set in a colorful archipelago, where players control Eïko, a young thief investigating mysterious kidnappings while dealing with pirates and other obstacles.

The game features exploration, humor, puzzles, collectibles, and giant bosses. Players can sail across the ocean on a turtle companion, climb islands, heal sick animals, and uncover secrets. Zefyr offers stealth or action options, with various abilities and items to collect.

Exploration is encouraged, with a focus on free climbing and sailing. Players can choose to confront or avoid enemies, and there are side quests and collectibles to find. Giant bosses await, requiring players to heal corrupted Guardians.

Zefyr features a vibrant open world, with unlockable abilities and items. Players can solve puzzles, investigate kidnappings, and meet lovable characters. Mathias Fontmarty, the developer, has been passionate about game development since childhood and aims to create inspiring and soothing games.
