Rayka Studio has announced the full launch of their creature-collecting RPG, Yaoling: Mythical Journey, on Steam. The game, previously known as Home of the Yokai, is inspired by Eastern fantasy and combines elements of monster catching, auto-battlers, and village life. Players step into the Land of the Ancients, where they must vanquish a dark force threatening the land and its creatures, known as Yaolings. With over 300 unique Yaolings to collect, players can form companionships with them and build their own village.

Yaoling: Mythical Journey offers three distinct ways to play, including an open-world mode, a story-driven Pixel RPG DLC, and a rogue-lite mode. The game has also evolved since its early access launch, now offering new features such as personalizing your journey with accessories and customization options, experiencing the emotional lives and story arcs of the Demon Lords, and exploring new game modes like the Martial Tournament and Hearth Guard rogue-lite challenge.
