Xsolla, StarNest, and IDDA Revolutionize Azerbaijan's Gaming Industry

Xsolla, a global video game commerce company, has partnered with StarNest and Azerbaijan's Innovation and Digital Development Agency (IDDA) to establish the Xsolla StarNest Academy and Incubator Program. This collaboration was unveiled at the Gamesummit Winter Edition 2024 in Baku, Azerbaijan, with the goal of empowering local developers, designers, and studios through cutting-edge training, resources, and financial support.
The partnership includes the Xsolla Incubator and Accelerator, which will provide tools, mentorship, and resources to early-stage developers and established studios alike. The Xsolla StarNest Academy will offer specialized training in game development to 90 individuals, with an incubation program launching in 2025 to support local game studios. StarNest will secure a dedicated facility for the Academy, and IDDA will provide strategic oversight.
Xsolla is also considering establishing its regional headquarters for Central Asia in Baku to support its commitment to the community and game developers in the region. This groundbreaking collaboration is set to position Azerbaijan as a regional game development and digital innovation leader.
Xsolla, founded in 2005, has helped thousands of game developers and publishers fund, market, launch, and monetize their games globally. IDDA is an Azerbaijani government agency specializing in digital diplomacy and analytics, while StarNest is a leading telecommunications company in Azerbaijan. GameSummit is a prominent organization focused on the development of the gaming industry in Azerbaijan.
