On March 25, 2025, Xsolla, a prominent video game commerce company, introduced the Journey of Indies (JOIN) Program, aimed at supporting indie and mid-tier game developers in LATAM. The program, powered by Xsolla, offers commercialization tools, mentorship, and industry partnerships to help developers scale their businesses and unlock the region's creative potential.

The JOIN Program is a result of collaboration between Xsolla, Institutio Conecta, Indie Hero, and the Secretariat of Science, Technology, and Innovation of the Federal District (SECTI-DF). A grant from SECTI-DF enables the establishment of a video game hub in Brasilia, providing education, business development, and commercialization training.

The program offers exclusive one-year access to educational programs, mentorship, talent selection, hands-on commercialization training, industry-wide collaboration, and publishing & distribution support. Indie Hero's publishing label, GoGo Games Interactive, will assist developers in integrating Xsolla's ecosystem.

Key dates include the livestream announcement on March 25, the accelerator beginning to go live on April 7, the official hub opening in Brasilia on April 25, a Gamescom LATAM panel on April 30, and the B2B Innova Summit event in Brasilia from June 22-26.

Xsolla's Chief Strategy Officer, Chris Hewish, stated that LATAM is a promising region for game development, and the company is committed to providing necessary resources and knowledge to help developers turn their creative visions into successful businesses.
